Downey's Restaurant overlooking Penn's Landing at Front & South Streets opened in Philadelphia in 1976. The restaurant is located in the city's premier neighborhood, Society Hill. The rich mahogany bar, wood panels and stained glass panes were imported from Country Cork in Ireland. We are delighted to share these treasures with you and hope they make you feel at home. Parking:
There is two-hour , on street parking adjacent to the Restaurant, either metered north of South Street or unmetered south of South Street.
There is off-street parking two blocks from the Restaurant at the Park of America Indoor Parking Garages located at 2nd and Lombard Streets. Both garages are directly across from each other. The price to park is $3.00 Sun. through Fri. and $10.00 on Sat. with a voucher obtained from your server; This is not valid on Holidays or for overnight parking.
